How does Alfa find a warm path?
When you connect your LinkedIn, Alfa can see who you are already connected to. If a champion in your stream is a first-degree connection of someone else on Alfa, that is a path, and Alfa asks them for the introduction rather than messaging the champion cold.
What happens when there is no warm path?
Nothing changes. The champion stays in your stream and is reached the usual way. Warm intros are an extra route when one exists, not a gate on your outbound.
Do I have to connect my LinkedIn?
No, and your streams work without it. Connecting it does two things: it lets Alfa find warm intro paths for you, and it makes you available as an introducer for others, which is what keeps paths available for everyone.
Can I invite people to open more paths?
Yes. Every person you invite who joins and connects LinkedIn adds their connections to the set of possible introductions, so the people worth inviting are the ones whose network overlaps your market.
Is anyone messaged without my say-so?
No. An introduction is a request to someone who already knows the champion, and it is theirs to accept or decline.
